As a special honour, you will be able to submerse yourself in the world of the famous couturier, Yves Saint Laurent, outside the usual public opening hours. On 3rd October 2017, the musée Yves Saint Laurent Paris opens its doors. This is the first museum of such size entirely dedicated to the work of one of the most famous couturiers of the 20th century. Over 450m² it celebrates both the creative genius of the couturier and the process of creating an haute couture collection. Just like Yves Saint Laurent's clients of the time, you will enter the museum through the historic front door of the house. This unique and special moment will take you through sumptuous salons, whose original decor has been preserved. Once in the exhibition spaces, you will be treated to a show of some of Yves Saint Laurent's most emblematic designs - the tuxedo jacket, the Saharienne, the trench coat, the jumpsuit - designs inspired by Russia, China and India and which revolutionised fashion. The many documents you will see during your visit will also give you the opportunity to discover the secrets of how an haute couture house works: original sketches, workshop sheets, collection boards, photographs, etc. But at the heart of your visit will be Yves Saint Laurent's studio, the inner sanctum of this house of haute couture. Your trip will end among the great artists who inspired the designer throughout his life, including Van Gogh, Picasso, Matisse and Mondrian
